As this Committee has pointed out as a result of the different encounters held in places of conflict, women continue to suffer a vulnerability that is increasing, thanks in part to the fact that the different social platforms, taking into account the situation, do not fully involve themselves to end it, although it nevertheless recognizes the efforts of the governments to implement awareness-raising programs that, to a great extent, have managed to balance the trend, with the augury that actions will be implemented so that women can go playing an increasingly important role, while enjoying more consideration.
This Wednesday, representatives from different countries that are members of the Committee, have analyzed at the UN headquarters, they have addressed the immediate actions that should be implemented for the protection of women, coinciding several speakers, mostly women, in which the feminine gender is fundamental for the attainment of peace in places of conflict, so that women should be given more support so that they can manage without risks.
At the meeting, the Delegation of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea led by the Minister Counselor in the Security Council, Susana Edjang Mangue, has raised some questions aimed at a better coordination of the committee, in relation to the Member States.
