First meeting of 2018 between Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Muhammadu Buhari

President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has arrived in the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, being received at the airport with Military honors, being driven minutes later to the palace of the Head of State of that country in the presence of several members of both governments who They have lived closely the friendly conversations of the two leaders.

Minutes after the meeting, S.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo congratulated his counterpart during the press conference on the occasion of that visit, for the good role played in the fight against the Islamist sect Boko-Harám, and reaffirmed the will between Malabo and Abuja to continue working together with others countries of the region, in favor of Security in the Gulf of Guinea.

The head of state has also responded to journalists from the different media about the recent national destabilization attempt, giving details about that reality prepared by a group of mercenaries bought by the enemies, many of whom are still leaving the light, the president said, could have led to a disastrous situation.

The review of the Guinean-Nigerian friendship and cooperation relations have also been part of the meeting between the two Heads of State.
