Permanent Mission of Equatorial Guinea to the United Nations , Mon, Apr 2, 2018

by José Enzeñ Obiang

The United Nations intends that all the Member States coexist in peace without means that endanger the good coexistence. To that end, through its disarmament commission, the arduous task of raising awareness among member states that have been betting on the manufacture and use of high-powered weapons continues.
Equatorial Guinea categorically rejects everything that tends to create confrontations with demonstrations of force, as it has been manifesting in the numerous forums held at the UN.

During the various interventions, the representatives of the regional blocs and Member States have agreed to greet the new group of experts that will work on disarmament, and have assured that it is an issue that needs the attention of the international community, so that they must create bonds of trust, with the purpose of achieving a free world without nuclear weapons.
