Our country, currently a non-permanent member of the Security Council of the United Nations, first of all sincerely thank all the friendly countries that placed their trust in us so that we could enjoy the opportunity that is presented to us, to contribute to the efforts of Peace and Stability in the world.

Here you will find detailed information about the space occupied by Equatorial Guinea in the United Nations Organization and the work it carries out as part of the work program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Equatorial Guinea. In addition, you will find links and information to other dependencies of interest to the Government.

In accordance with our transparency policy, we take advantage of our website to disseminate information on past and present participation of Equatorial Guinea in all United Nations forums, including our membership in the Security Council during the present biennium 2018-2019 , our participation in the six main commissions of the General Assembly, in the open debates of the Security Council, in the Economic and Social Council, the Peacebuilding Commission and in functional commissions and subsidiary organs of the System. Among the current topics that are followed up include the 2030 agenda, climate change, food security, indigenous issues, the situation of women in development, disarmament and legal issues.
